More and more cases of sexual violence and child abuse are made public every day.
The generative cause of these heinous acts is the system of oppression itself, inwhich authoritarian norms shape social reality. In many cases, however, thereason why the various forms of violence (verbal, psychological, physical, up torape, pedophilia and femicide) continue to survive, is social tolerance. And thisis because the continuous application by a person of authoritarian practices,with great intensity and duration in almost public view, presupposes that in hissurroundings there are prevailing tendencies of nepotism, up to conditions ofcomplicity.In some of the most recent and most publicized cases, there are obvioussimilarities. Similarities perhaps indiscernible in fascists, housewives,papadarios and other groupings of this class, since the perspective from which weprocess the data also shows the huge value gap that separates us. In one of them,a pedophile lives, works and socializes under the qualities of the local partyleader, family man, religious and of course patriot. For a large part of thepedophile's neighborhood, this perhaps artificially constructed profile alone isenough to be considered a person above suspicion. A typical householder, obedientto urban laws. Perhaps even worse, for some who might have discerned "strange"behaviors, the so ethnically aligned,patriarchal and ecclesiastical standardprofiles, to justify any "falsehood" such as the rape of a minor girl. Or they just wanted to outwitthe other cops in their department, who all happened to be recording the abuse ofimmigrants in 2007 and of course got full state coverage, since no one ever foundout about them.In a system like capitalism, which is not only economic, but primarily permeatesand shapes relationships between individuals, patriarchy, sexism, and theexploitation of man by man take their most cruel and leveling form, wheninstincts such as sexual pleasure are used as means of enforcement, dominance and"opportunity" for economic exploitation. Far from the "civilized" West, in exoticEastern destinations, where sex tourism and the rape of minor boys and girls arenow state-sanctioned, respectable Westerners and not only citizens can and dorape without caring, among other things, about the legal consequences of civiljustice.But we don't need to look that far, since the selective and hypocriticalsensibility of the bourgeois is not intended for the rape of the bodies and soulsof the "invisible" of this world, for which the outraged society hypocriticallyand indifferently turns its face elsewhere. Their voices, no matter how loud theyare heard, cannot disturb the quietness of the moralistic sleep of thehousewives. Immigrants, prostitutes, homosexuals, transsexuals, drug addicts,incarcerated, minors, have been raped in AT hells, in concentration camps, on thestreets and anywhere else relations of dominance, control and power are reproduced.And if we sometimes recognize from a part of society, the true feelings ofsympathy and empathy for those whose bodies and souls were raped by authoritarianbastards, we cannot ignore that this type of "humanism" never reaches to questionthe systemic causes of reproduction of violence. In other words, the existence ofa state, which, together with its beloved child capitalism, is literallynourished and strengthened by the blood and body of those "from below".This is why the effort of this part of society is exhausted mainly in thefinancial and non-support of state and church structures, which is usually doneduring specific periods such as Christmas. Either as a form of bribery to securea better place in their metaphysical fantasies, or as an alibi for their everydayinactivity. In institutions-micro-communities, which due to their management,power relations are even more intense. Except that instead of the impersonalstate, the concentration of powers converges on the face of state functionariesand child-loving priests. And if the people who support structures like "the arkof the world" think it's impossible to know the intensity of violence thatpermeates the lives of "hosted" children, maybe they could imagine it,000children who have been "officially" recognized as victims of abuse by Catholicpriests in France. Rape, murder, torture, humiliation and poverty are not just"the hard side of this world" but the cornerstone and backbone of the wholesystem. Without these practices there could be no state, no capitalism, and noecclesiastical power. But neither should the patriarchy and its practices last long.Perhaps the greatest communicative victory of the state, the one that largelyconsolidates its monopoly, is that while it has created the conditions for thereproduction of violence through impoverishment, coercion, exploitation of theweak for the benefit of the economy and in general of the perpetuation of thesystem and its very existence, he does not hesitate to present himself as aprotector in retrospect. The worst of all, is that for a part of society, thestate is the last refuge in moments of political, social and value crisis. Andunfortunately we see that even people who consider themselves part of the"competitive" movement are asking for even more state. On the occasion of theincidents of rape and pedophilia, there are louder cries for stricter penalties,However, the road to resistance is not consistent with Leninist practices. Thereis no good and bad state. Any appeal to bourgeois democracy as a means of lawenforcement is what gives the state the moral legitimacy to punish poor people,drug addicts and exterminate militants. Within this social condition where a partof society is asking for more prisons, the "new penal code" is imposed whichfurther reduces any breaths of freedom for the imprisoned, with an obvioustargeting of the enemies of the state. As a reminder, the target of the systemwill never be the dictators, the rapists and the pedophiles like Lignadis,Georgiadis, Filippidis, the priests, not even the expendable Michos and thepolice of AT Omonia, but the anti-authoritarians. So,For us things are clear. Only when we stand next to each other, only when werealize in our daily lives words like solidarity and dignity, only when we stopconsidering every would-be small and big ruler as normality, only when the partsof society that have not yet died and surrendered their mind and consciousness tothe need for imposition and power decide to react strongly, we will cease to bespectators to the rape of bodies and souls.We will always be at war with the rulers of this world, without mitigation,without systemic appeals, without electoral tricks. Whether they are rapists, orpedophiles, or cops, or fascists, or all kinds of small and big rulers who hidebehind the mask of propriety.
