The day of March 23 was awaited by everyone, with the fear, or the hope, that the
passage in force of the government would cause a strong demobilization. It didnot happen. Hope remains in our camp. Emmanuel Macron, more isolated than ever,is in the trap! ---- His arrogant intervention Tuesday at "1 p.m." even threw oilon the fire. Democratic denial and presidential contempt have brought new and newprotesters to the streets. And the youth, largely absent from the first weeks ofstruggle, came to clearly reinforce the battalions with their dynamism. ---- In acompletely decentralized way, organized by union structures and/or spontaneousAGs depending on the locality, multiple blocking actions are multiplying in realenthusiasm. Cars and trucks blocked, sometimes for hours, usually show theirsolidarity with the blockades.Police violence, abusive preventive arrests, prolonged police custody havevisibly increased social anger. Angry crowds are legitimate: Emmanuel Macron isgoing strong, too!In some sectors, including in medium-sized private companies, renewable strikesare continuing. They must receive our full attention, our financial support, andour support on the pickets, especially in cases of scandalous requisitioning ofemployees.The difficulty in extending the renewable strike is clearly the weak point of themovement against the reform. The master key is here, at your fingertips. UCLactivists put all their energy into it. In this context, a campaign for areferendum of shared initiative is not only a dead end but a risk of misdirectionof the mobilization.Finally, the confused announcement of the postponement and revision of theDarmanin law against migrants proves the fragility of Macronie.
