across the country motivated by righteous anger took to the streets to denounce
this state and capitalist crime, to fight so that the real culprits
(state-governments-capitalists) are not covered up and to clash with the paid
torturers of the state apparatus despite the severe repression and against all
kinds of professional provocateurs.

And all this, at the same time that the guilty, the co-responsible and the
exploiters of even death have their eyes on the elections. We all now know that
crime in Tempe, especially in relation to the elections, is of concern to them.
Everywhere the country's bourgeois political system is planning how it will
exploit the death of our fellow human beings in order to strengthen each party
group's electoral percentages. First and foremost, the government of the New
Democracy, which was quick to attribute the criminal responsibility for the
medieval mode of operation of the railways to "human error" and then, fearing
electoral losses, tried to reconcile the irreconcilable with provocative
"apologies" of a communicative nature. The same is true of the SYRIZA opposition
under whose government the privatization of OSE took place with great fanfare.
The people of Koumoundourou have the audacity and are waiting for the crime in
Tempi, for which they are jointly responsible, to act as a trigger for the
"electoral overthrow of Mitsotakis" instead of hiding to avoid being shot. Up
close and the rest of the bastards of the would-be administrators of power and
their henchmen.

It is no coincidence that the first media that spoke about the effect of crime in
Tempe regarding the elections, were AUGI and EFSYN rubbing their hands and hoping
for the rise of their political boss. While on the one hand the scratches of the
N.D. they see crime in Tempe as a danger to electoral losses, the Social
Democratic scumbags claim to favor themselves, believing that the people will not
consider their own criminal responsibilities for the condition of the railroads.
Trading hope over blood, death and pain. But, this has always been and this will
always be the ethos of state and government actors on both the right and left
sides of systemic management.

But let's move on and face our own responsibilities as a society, as a working
class and as youth in the face of the upcoming elections. What is our debt in
this unjust, exploitative and rotten system that flattens our lives and leads us
to death? Can we turn it around? And if so, what can the elections have to do
with such a difficult but not impossible historical undertaking? According to us,
none!

Being at the heart of a global systemic crisis that has been raging since 2008
and which in the Greek area since 2010 and the inclusion in the first memorandum
we have lived through the looting of every aspect of social life, only one thing
can be certain: each government will be worse than the last. The same will of
course also apply to the next one that will be formed in a short time from now,
whether it will be again with a trunk a delegitimized social N.D. or an unstable
government of "progressive cooperation" between the purists of SYRIZA and PASOK.
Let's look back: from the government of "there is money" and Papademos, from
Samaros/Venizelos to SYRIZA/ANEL and now in the neoliberal right of the last four
years, every evil comes to succeed a greater one. What changed; What can change
with the succession of persons in the management of a structurally exploitative
system? Let's end the delusions.

All different government variants have now been tried. All the recipes for
managing the structural and insurmountable capitalist crisis have also been
tried, with the same tragic results. Let's see the present with some
understandable examples. Around the world, inflation has soared due to the
increase in the money supply that central banks have taken to deal with the
recession of 2020. If during that period Greece was not included in the bond
purchase programs (i.e. the purchase of government debt by the central banks) it
would go bankrupt in the midst of a health crisis. To avoid this in the midst of
a pandemic, the economic and political managers of the stolen wealth of our labor
cooked up a policy which shifted the consequences of the new episode of the
crisis. One of the effects we are already experiencing is inflation. So how do
they try to appease him? With the withdrawal of the measures that the states
themselves, the governments, the banks and the international capitalist directors
took (increases in interest rates, suspension of the bond market, etc.). What
does it practically entail? The return of recession, the launch of global debt
and new austerity packages. If the pandemic did not break out and the lockdowns
did not happen, the recession that had already hit in combination with the fiscal
requirements for primary surpluses, would have already led to new memoranda,
which would even be milder in the face of what is to come.

What do we mean by these examples? That claims of "small improvements" are long
dead. They ended with the outbreak of the most structural, the most severe crisis
in the history of capitalism that we have known. That "small" can be won, can
only be from our own struggles. And such examples exist through the action of the
labor movement. They have been in COSCO, they have been in EFOOD, they have been
in Kavala Oil, they have been elsewhere. The stake of the time is to multiply the
small victories and take them a step further: to raise a social and political
issue. To believe in our strengths, to fight organized, to believe in the
possibility of revolutionary overthrow. We are the ones who produce the wealth,
we should take it into our own hands by overthrowing the capitalist ownership of
the means of production. We are the vast majority of society, we should make the
decisions and not governments, parliaments and state drones. If we make that
decision, no police will be able to save them.

What do anarchists propose?

Abstaining from the elections that we propose is primarily a denial of the state,
bourgeois democracy and parliamentarism. It is a denial of this rotten system
that has dominated the last three centuries all over the planet. But it is not
sterile denial. It is not a refusal to participate in the "commons" as
slanderously claimed by all the partisan enemies of abstinence. The abstinence
that we propose, the mass popular abstinence, is precisely the involvement in the
public: it is the proposal to take the situation into our own hands. Not to
entrust our own affairs to professional administrators of brutality. The
abstinence we propose is equivalent to participation in the commons, taking over
their management by us.

Faced with the dilemma of a bourgeois state or a workers' state, or with the
intra-systemic dilemmas of a neoliberal or social democratic state, our movement
has answered a long time ago: no state at all! Socialization of means of wealth
production, services and goods. All the wealth in our hands. Abolish the
hierarchical institutions of the state and replace them with popular assemblies,
community councils and producer-worker councils. All decisions in our hands, all
affairs under the control of popular bodies. Developing a revolutionary program
of overturning in the here and now through the building of strong political and
class agencies. Immediate implementation of a plan of socialization,
expropriation of resources, equal distribution of goods and mutual
aid-transport-distribution networks. Such a program could be started immediately
if we decided to do so. Not in "coexistence" with the capitalist economy as
advocated by the various logics of "islands of freedom" or "alternative
economies" that function more as an assimilable "decor" of barbarism but through
the here and now building of a revolutionary movement to overthrow capitalism and
the state .

The "EfSyn" in which we intervene today is a completely systemic instrument that
represents the interests of a bourgeois party of power, whose governance was
linked to the 3rd onerous memorandum and the post-memorandum myths that
accompanied the fiscal subordination to the international financial directorates
for decades. A four-year leveling of wages, pensions, labor, trade union and
social rights and a sometimes traditional repression full of blood that only
rarely showed the "sensitive" means of the left or a repression of assimilation.
"EfSyn" had the role of regime vanguard all these years.  He covered up the state
crimes of the period 2015-2019, while from 2019 until today, when he joined the
opposition, he is fighting tooth and nail for the return of SYRIZA to political
power.

The existence of "friendly" columnists towards the "movements" within it, is not
the "other" face of its boss. It is the way in which the memorabilia bastards of
SYRIZA try to take advantage of the righteous social anger, mediate it with new
lies and trap it in the ballot box. The movements for them are the useful idiots
on whose backs they want to climb to retake the government. On the contrary for
us, the labor and student movement, the various social movements, are seeds that
ferment new worlds, as long as they are organized away from entrapment in the
agendas of bourgeois politics, but also do not become conscript bodies of the
unsolicited vanguards of the "dictatorship of the proletariat" .

But one might wonder: doesn't the "ease" of an intervention in EFSYN also certify
its "friendliness" or at least its tolerance towards the movements, whose voice
can be heard? In principle we anarchists have always intervened in media of all
party interests. Secondly, there is a noticeable difference: in the period of
government of N.D. EFSYN expects any intervention, even by anarchists, to hit the
"right" and strengthen the opposition of SYRIZA. In other words, it has open arms
for anti-government and anti-ND interventions and "voices" considering that its
boss, being the dominant opposition force, will reap the benefits. With us they
definitely fell "out". We have come to declare ABSENCE and strike the medium and
his boss. We did not come as invited nor are we guests. We did not come to win
the sympathy of the SYRIZA audience for some request of ours, but to put it
before their responsibilities.

Epilogue

As we predicted, the system is sick and can no longer produce anything but
destitution, poverty and wars for the many. The question is whether we will
become cannon fodder or build our own world. If we become complicit in our own
slow death or the embodiment of resistance that the world so desperately needs.
Are we going to fight collectively claiming the immediate improvement of our
living conditions while simultaneously looking at the overthrow and the
revolution, or are we going to be indifferent and passively close to
individualism and the convenient for the system declaration "nothing changes". At
least let's save our dignity. Let's not vote for the scraps of our lives. Let's
not become complicit in the ongoing class crime and social injustices against us.

Let's shake them this bloody election season.
