the time determined the condemnation of Cospito and his burial in the 41 bis.
It was not, however, an unpredictable act; the continuous interventions of
Minister Nordio, guarantor with private and state thieves but politically
adversary of any individual or movement that opposes the bourgeois capitalist
order; the indications of the Turin prosecutor's office, an entity traditionally
fierce against NO TAV and anarchist activists, together with many other recent
episodes, tipped the balance towards Alfredo's death sentence, given his
increasingly determined will to continue his protest to the bitter end .
The calculations of a government made up of the heirs of the massacres of Piazza
Fontana, Piazza della Loggia, Italicus, Bologna station, the express 904,
appeared clear right away, and the parliamentary opposition demonstrated that it
did not possess any thickness capable of hindering its progress, as evidenced by
the misleading and ridiculous tussle over the alleged revelations of Donzelli,
primed by Del Mastro, on the advice of the Prime Minister, and under the
protective wing of the Minister of Injustice. These are calculations that
predicted and planned the death of Alfredo Cospito as a result of the very long

We are convinced that Alfredo has already won: he won because he managed, despite
the isolation in which they forced him, not to be buried in a state tomb; he
managed to break the silence on his story and, more importantly, to reopen the
debate on the 41 bis and on all the victims of this system of torture, giving new
impetus to a battle that has always remained muted, and giving hope to the many
buried alive from this treatment and life imprisonment.
It is our wish that Alfredo Cospito can emerge alive from this affair, to be able
to continue the struggle together with the entire anarchist movement, with all
the forces that have contributed and are contributing to this battle, with all
those intellectuals who have broken the wall of silence, silence and complicity,
taking the floor to denounce the dirty operation set up ever since they wanted
him guilty of facts from which he has always declared himself extraneous, and
when they wanted to wall him up alive in the 41 bis regime, with legal forcing by
fascist regimes, in the silence of many, many of whom sat in the benches of the
government preceding the current one with Fascist-League traction.

We are bearers of a culture of life, and not of death like the fascists and the
state apparatuses, who want him dead to settle accounts with the 70s, and we will
fight so that Alfredo is never alone, respecting the choices of him.
