The General Confederation of Labor (CGT) of Valencia, on the third day
of the Libertarian Days (JJ.LL), had the presence of environmentalgroups such as Futuro Vegetal and Soulèvements de la Terre ---- OnWednesday November 29, at Octubre CCC (C/Sant Ferran no. 12, Valencia),the third day of the XXV Libertarian Days (JJ.LL.) of CGT Valencia washeld, with a debate titled "Disobedience civil to deal with the climateemergency", which has had the participation of militants from the directaction ecological collective Futur Vegetal (FV) and the Frenchresistance movement Soulèvements de la Terre.On the one hand, FV - whose area of action and influence is the SpanishState - has focused its discourse on civil disobedience and directaction as a way of transformation away from the ecological model basedon the collection of signatures Thus, FV, detached from parliamentarypolitics and with a vocation to influence Public Opinion through themass media, "acts through symbolic actions of protest, ranging fromthrowing paint on political party headquarters and buildingsinstitutions to boycott the cycle tour in Spain with road closures".For its part, Soulèvements de la Terre has focused on the crudestrepression, starring riot police, grenade launcher tanks, helicopters,drones and, in short, by the French State; that a figure of 150,000retaliated environmentalists has been settled. Finally, despite certainstructural differences, the two collectives have emphasized that theyfind their point of convergence in which both FV and Soulèvements de laTerre are, ultimately, defenders of life and the territory.The Libertarian Days continue this Thursday, November 29, at 6:30 p.m.,at Octubre CCC, with the presentation and screening of the documentary"Salvador Seguí.
