opportunity to present this associative and self-managed web radio based
in Lens in the mining basin.

Created in 2015, it produces local social, political and cultural news
with a critical eye.
It is a popular education association, which also runs radio and Media
and Information Education workshops for children, young people and adults.
We deal with issues that are very different from those that we are
bombarded with daily by the bourgeois media, whether local, regional or
other...
Thus, on La Une we find social and political news conducted through
reports. The last ones are devoted to the strikes at the Palais des
Beaux Arts in Lille, or to the situation of people who are currently
trying to cross the Franco-English border...
The Mining Basin Agenda offers each week the dates of activist and
cultural events for the coming week, in the mining basin as well as
outings for young people.
The international bulletin reports on the different facets of the class
struggle in the world. Its leaders reject a strict nationalist vision
which aims solely at the search for solutions for France because
capitalism was built and is deployed on a global scale. The issues are
international, the circulation of capital has no borders and these only
exist to divide people.
The Histoire Ouvrière program looks back on particular events in the
working history of the Nord-Pas-de-Calais mining area.
Many other programs specifically offer to make the mechanisms of the
capitalist economy understandable, to give a voice to the women of
Family Planning in Pas-de-Calais, to compare testimonies on health
issues in contact with professionals...
