WORLD WORLDWIDE EUROPE BULGARIA - news journal UPDATE - (en) Bulgaria, FAB: "Death of the bourgeoisie" or of the "System" that gave birth to it? (ca, de, it, pt, tr)[machine translation]

Archives, Notes on the philosophy of anarchism, Ideas that are close to
us, News, News from abroad, Organizations, Position, Politics, Articles,
Theory, Goals ---- On May Day, a post appeared on the Telegram channel
"Autonomous Action" with a photo from subscribers of the channel from
Perm. The photo shows a poster hanging over a city highway with the
words "Death to the Bourgeois" with the letter "A" inscribed in a circle
on one side of the sign and a hammer and sickle sign on the other. There
are currently about 70 approving likes under the Telegram post.

"Death to the Bourgeois"?!....Seriously? Of course, it is good that in
Perm there are activists, apparently, of anarcho-communist views. And
such shock agitation is, of course, much better than nothing. However, I
wish I could, as they say, "smother" and understand this May Day
promotion. Anything is better than being ignored.

One could, of course, describe such a "radical" formulation of the issue
as most likely youthful maximalism or a desire to attract attention with
"radicalism." It seems, however, that there is nothing radical in such a
slogan, but only class hatred is visible, even rather personal, because
"death to the bourgeois" is perhaps against a specific bourgeois.

But even the Bolsheviks never declared the need for the physical
destruction of the representatives of the "bourgeois" class, but spoke
specifically about the destruction of the capitalists as a class in
society for a progressive change in the social structure.

It's possible, of course, that this slogan is just juvenile banter. But
we must understand that this teasing happens in public space and affects
society in a very specific way, regardless of the intentions and mood of
the activists. Will such a slogan appeal to the common man? And what
will the owner of a good cafe think about this, taking out a business
loan in the hope of freeing himself from wage labor, in accordance with
current trends in society? What will opponents of war think when they
see calls for murder? What conclusions will liberal activists draw?

There are many slogans that correctly express the contemporary social
contradictions and aspirations of the anarcho-communists. There is no
feedback address or directions to an information resource on the poster.
No explanation of the position. There is no call for cooperation to
replace "bourgeois" relations. As a result, the effect seems to be
rather negative for the excitement of the local population, does not
reflect the essence of social problems, does not form a positive agenda,
but rather causes rejection among the disengaged population.

Anarcho-communism is, in many ways, primarily an ethical doctrine, and
such a slogan does not reflect its essence, much less is it relevant in
the modern world. Most modern "bourgeois" are an active part of society,
following its trends. And it is those experienced in economic activity
who can become activists for collaboration and delegation when and if it
becomes mainstream.

I would like to wish the Perm activists philanthropy and common sense in
their social struggle, fighting the system, not the people.
