for the war theaters of Ukraine and Palestine.

Opposition to Muos which in these years with ups and downs, with
exciting moments, such as the blockades to prevent the start of the
installation of the satellite dishes, with the occupation of the base in
2013 and more, represents one of the longest-running antimilitarist,
anti-imperialist and internationalist movements on Sicilian and Italian
territory.

In these years, before the war broke out, we were among the few to talk
about a tendency towards war on the part of the state and capital, when
many told us that the battle against Muos was a lost fight and of little
relevance.

Several have tried to use the No Muos mobilizations for their own
political gain, remaining in the end with nothing.

The Sicily of Muos and the city of Niscemi fully represent what this
territory has been in these years, Italian administration, American
command and mafia control, accompanied by environmental devastation,
land pollution and human alienation.

After the two camps, the first in August 2024 and the second in late
December 2024 and early 2025, camps that saw good participation, with
cutting of nets and continuous annoyance towards the guardians of
disorder, the repression was once again fueled by the war climate with
the notifications of 6 expulsion orders from the territory of Niscemi
for several comrades. This proves how the continuous presence of
activists in the territory is extremely annoying to the authorities.

The police forces have been trying for years to cancel the presence of
the No Muos in the territory of Niscemi with continuous intimidation and
above all trying to distance the people of Niscemi from the fight.

It was precisely from the No Muos movement that the mobilization against
Leonardo started, which saw important demonstrations in Palermo with
marches and pickets in front of the factory in Via Villagrazia.

For these demonstrations, Antudo activists are being investigated for
alleged acts of damage against the factory itself, with Luigi Spera
detained for 6 months in the prison of Alessandria and now on trial with
other comrades. Over the years, the movement has built relationships
with other No Guerra groups, with the Kurds, with the Zapatistas and not
just now with the Palestinians, opposing the massacre and genocide
perpetrated by the state of Israel.

It is clear that the security decree will make our lives even more
difficult, but we will do everything we can to not be silenced. For next
June 2nd, in conjunction with the Republic Day, we have called a
demonstration against the war in solidarity with oppressed peoples.
