(Info: aktionbleiberecht.de/aufruf-3ld) Groups from the border region of three countries are calling for a protest at the borders of Switzerland, France, and Germany. ---- We oppose the deadly policies of the European asylum system and advocate for a world in which people can move freely. ---- We live in the border region between countries and beyond. We are people with and without passports. Our solidarity unites us. ---- With the reform of the Common European Asylum Pact (CEAS), which comes into force on June 12, 2026, the right to asylum for refugees is fundamentally undermined at every level.
The EU countries - including Switzerland - are pursuing a policy of isolation that deprives people of their rights and forces them into irregularity. Individual asylum rights are being circumvented by regulations, and refugees are being held in detention camps at the EU's external borders for months. Even within countries, more and more grounds for detaining refugees are being created.
European countries, with their companies and banks, are complicit in war, destruction, and the root causes of displacement.
That's why we will take to the streets together on April 18, 2026, for a society based on solidarity, for the right to freedom of movement, and against violence at the borders!
