Ukraine just launched its largest assault to date against the Moscow region overnight.
Reports suggest that Kyiv launched 1,750 drones and 17 Flamingo missiles and set a major Moscow oil hub ablaze. Not only that, but Kyiv also appears to have cut logistics to occupied Crimea via the Chonhar bridge, while boots on the ground hinted at an upper hand near Kharkiv’s Vovchansk.
But war is not always sunshine and rainbows – Zelensky has already warned of another major Russian assault nationwide, with power cuts already visible in some regions. Russia is also actively churning out cheap quasi-missiles by repurposing what’s already in stock, with more Ukrainians appearing to accept some compromise to end the war – but not without liberating some more land.
In other news, Seoul appears to be using Kyiv as a diplomatic punching bag, with its president saying Sybiha’s apology is not enough over the POW statement at the UN and demanding Zelensky’s. Which is also funny, considering reports also came out today that South Korea supplied so much fuel to Russia in July and August that it comes second to India – reportedly.
