Shao Huan presents a completely new and unique modern jazz concept with the Ashesash Quintet on Saturday 3 October. He draws inspiration from ECM-era European jazz, combining the sheng, a highly unusual traditional Chinese instrument, with tenor saxophone and a rhythm section.

Multi-award-winning saxophonist Simon Comté is taking New York by storm while Eliott Knuets has been invited to perform at New York’s Lincoln Center by Wynton Marsalis himself. This is your opportunity to see them close up in Toots before they sell out major concert halls and festivals.
Xime Monzón, one of the best known blues harmonica players in South America, will set our stage alight at the Brussels Rhythm & Blues Club in Toots on Saturday 17 October.

Highly talented New York–born saxophonist Nikita Sipiagin plays Toots on 24 October with his quartet. Son of Alex Sipiagin and grandson of Lew Tabackin and Charlie Mariano, Nikita clearly has jazz literally running through his veins.
We’ll round off October with our in-house band, a leading French pianist and Steven Dellanoye’s new project, before a stratospheric start to November, which will be announced on the website in a few hours’ time.
