orders against them. He was not silenced by the prison system, nor did he return
to his home to have a peaceful life and ignore the situation that his companions
are going through. For us, this is the clear reason why the government considers
it "necessary" and pedagogical for Miguel to return to jail.

We must also remember that prolonged incarceration is precisely a strategy for
States to fight their enemies. In the case of Mexico, incarceration is clearly
aimed at depriving of freedom and, therefore, of their actions, on the one hand,
the defenders of the territory and the community bond, and, on the other hand,
the women who fight against the Patriarchal State. The persecution of anarchists
is a worldwide scenario, and is reflected in high convictions, as in the case of
fellow anarchists in Italy, who received a non-existent sentence of life
imprisonment, or the case of Gabriel Pombo da Silva, who was imprisoned for

That is why we are calling for the solidarity that has accompanied us over the
last few years to speak out against the sentence of fifty in prison and the
persecution of Miguel Peralta by the ruling party, and the possible new arrest,
as well as for freedom of the seven political prisoners in Eloxochitlán and for
the end of the arrest warrants against the victims of this conflict.

We ask that you be aware and attentive to any attempt to arrest or damage the
integrity of Miguel, his family and his lawyers.

In view of the context of impunity and criminalization that exists in Oaxaca and
in the country as a whole, we hold Elisa Zepeda Lagunas, her father Manuel Zepeda
Cortés and their party group responsible for the political persecution and acts
of violence and repression against Miguel Peralta . This condemnation reflects
