It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our comrade Francesco Ponticelli, aged 76. He died during the night of August 14-15 at the care facility where he had been staying for some time following a devastating illness. Originally from Tuscany and a long-time resident of Saronno, Francesco was active in libertarian-autonomous circles as early as the 1970s, documenting-through photography-the demonstrations and police charges of that era. Alongside his trade union work at the bank where he was employed, he resumed his social and libertarian activism in the 2000s (thanks to a connection made with the unforgettable Franco Pasello, who distributed the publication *UN* at Cadorna Station); from then on, he never failed to offer his support and contribution to anarchist activities at both local and national levels. We remember him for his work with the Social Struggles Commission and the *Bel Lavoro* collective, as well as his collaboration with *UN* and *Zero in Condotta*, where he managed shipping and invoicing.
The progressive, degenerative illness that forced him to withdraw from public life in recent years could not diminish the value of his commitment, nor erase the memory of the many moments and initiatives we shared.
We send a heartfelt, solidary embrace to his partner Isa, his children and grandchildren, and all those who loved him.
The comrades of the Milanese Anarchist Federation (FAMilanese)
