More deadly strikes are recorded across Ukraine as blackouts also return.
In the capital, another drone assault has killed three and injured 14 more as houses and stores – including major supermarket warehouses – were hit, with the energy grid likely targeted as well. Authorities reported water supply disruptions on the right bank due to reduced pressure caused by unstable power supplies, with blackouts announced for around 12 hours a day. In eastern Ukraine’s Kramatorsk, Russia also hit a passenger bus and killed 30 – a high casualty count in a single strike.
The overall forecast isn’t optimistic either – Russia reportedly has detailed plans on the number and types of weapons to paralyze Ukraine’s grid, while South Korea is officially recalling its ambassador in Kyiv after the latest diplomatic rift.
But at least there’s some positive news on drones – Ukraine has codified another drone interceptor, while Kyiv is set to get thousands of drones capable of downing Russia’s jet drones. The Pentagon also added 1,320 Ukrainian F10 drones to its Drone Dominance order, which is good news for the country’s budding defense sector.
