a) Workshop Proposals

We encourage your workshop proposals for both days of this year’s Montreal Anarchist 
Bookfair (May 23 or 24, 2015). You can submit workshops that are: i) introductions to 
anarchism or ii) workshops on other topics related to anarchism that explores an 
anarchism-themed topic in some depth.

A theme room brings together related workshops and presentations in one space for a series

will take place in TWO spaces that are located across from each other: the Centre Culturel 
Georges-Vanier (CCGV) at 2450 rue Workman and the Centre d’éducation populaire de la 
Petite-Bourgogne et de St-Henri (CEDA) at 2515 rue Delisle.

days of the Montreal Anarchst Bookfair: May 23 & 24, 2015, with a vernissage scheduled on 
May 22.

childcare and kids activities, Art and Anarchy, workshops and presentations, organizing 
tables and distributors, various logistics including food, translations, and more. As 
well, there is the promotion of the Bookfair itself, which includes postering, flyering, 
online publicity and more.

Habitué à déjouer les balles des soldats israéliens, il franchit quotidiennement le mur qui le sépare de Nadia qu’il aime passionnément et de ses deux amis d’enfance, Tarek et Amjad. Les trois amis ont décidé de créer leur propre groupe de résistance armée et sont prêts à passer à l’action.
Le jeune boulanger Omar devient alors un combattant pour la liberté qui va devoir affronter les choix douloureuses de la vie. Quand Omar est incarcéré suite à une action de résistance, son combat va se heurter aux méthodes de répression et de manipulation de l’Etat israélien.

Actor-comedian Robin Williams was found dead on Monday at his home in Northern California from an apparent suicide, Marin County Sheriff's Office said. He was 63.

The sheriff's coroner's division said it suspects the death was a suicide due to asphyxia, but the cause of death is still under investigation.

C'estdans ce contexte que se déroule le tournage d'un film. Les budgets deproduction sont serrés et Costa, le producteur, se félicite de pouvoir employerdes comédiens et des figurants locaux à moindre coût. Mais bientôt Costa et Sébastian,le jeune réalisateur, se trouvent malgré eux emportés dans cette lutte pour lasurvie d'un peuple démuni. Ils devront choisir entre soutenir la cause de lapopulation et la poursuite de leur propre entreprise sur laquelle ils ont toutmisé. Ce combat pour la justice va bouleverser leur existence.

Sound Of Noise

Een stelletje geflipte muzikanten starten een ritmische guerrilla tegen de gevestigde orde. De muzikale bourgeoisie ondergaat het met afgrijzen, terwijl een toondove flik hen op de hielen zit. De acties van de geluidsterroristen waarmee ze de stad op hun kop zetten, zijn de hoogtepunten van dit absurde verhaal.

In het kader van het weekend tegen het nucleaire en haar wereld:

"Simulatie van een kernongeval: een instrument tot beheer van de 


bevolking"

Regelmatig vinden er simulaties plaats van kernongevallen rondom de kerncentrales.
Elke rampsituatie - echt of gesimuleerd - vormt een moment waarop de Staat haar technieken van pacificatie en ordehandhaving op levensgrote schaal test. Het zijn laboratoria op werkelijke grootte waarbij de bevolking dient als proefkonijn.
Dit instrument speelt een precieze rol: de autoriteit van de Staat (en van de specialisten van alle slag) over onze levens normaliseren en legitimeren.
Voorbij die vaststelling: hoe pistes vinden om deze momenten waarop de berusting zich uitbreidt saboteren? Welke pistes kunnen we vinden om wat zandkorrels in die machine te werpen?

"Amadeus Warnerbring, policier, est né dans une famille de grands musiciens mais bizarrement, il est amèrement allergique a la musique. C'est alors que six percussionnistes décident de jouer illégalement de la musique en utilisant la ville comme instrument. Leurs performances créent des troubles et des dégâts. Warnerbring doit absolument trouver ces révoltés qui sèment la panique et font beaucoup trop de bruit à son goût... Il faut absolument que tout redevienne calme et silencieux. Mais pour cela, Warnerbring va devoir se rapprocher des musiciens et du monde de la musique qu'il déteste tant..."

LA SIMULATION: un outil de gestion de la population

Des exercices de simulation d'incidents nucléaires ont lieu régulièrement autour des centrales.
Chaque situation de catastrophe - réelle ou simulée - est un moment où l'Etat teste en grandeur nature ses techniques de pacification et de maintien de l'ordre. Ce sont des laboratoires à grande échelle où les populations servent à cobayes à l'expérience.
Cet outil a un rôle bien précis: celui de normaliser et de légitimer l'autorité de l'Etat (et des spécialistes en tout genre) sur nos vies.
Au-delà de ce constat, comment trouver des pistes pour saboter ces moments où la résignation s'étend? Quelles prises peut-on trouver pour placer quelques graines de sable dans cette machine?

Concert de soutien aux prisonniers de Nijni-Novgorod à Bruxelles ce 27 avril !

Nous organiserons ce vendredi 27 avril un concert de soutien aux antifascistes russes emprisonnés à Nijni-Novgorod, les fonds récoltés seront envoyés en Russie où ce groupe de militants autour duquel les autorités russes ont créé un dossier de toute pièce a cruellement besoin de fonds pour assumer ses frais juridiques ! Venez nombreux pour les soutenir !

Dés 19h : repas végétalien et projection du film ‘Antifascist Attitude’, réalisé par le collectif russe ‘Les Enfants de Bakounine’. Le film détaille la situation de ces militants assassinés par dizaines chaque année dans un pays où néo-nazis et fascistes n’ont plus peur de se cacher.

Dés 21h : Concerts punk et hip-hop !
